Preston Park Area

Our houses (excluding Moulscoomb Way) are minutes from Preston Park a perfect place to live right in the centre of Brighton, next door to the lively London Road. Just 10 minutes walk to the famous ‘Lanes’ and Brighton station for Falmer and beyond.

It’s a great location with transport links directly on Preston Road. Here in Preston Circus you'll be right near a bus stop for travel to Uni as well as the Gatwick Express bus straight to the airport.

One end of Preston Road is the peaceful Preston Park for summer festivals, tennis courts and an outdoor cafe. In the other direction you get to London Road. ‘Circling 63 acres of trees and greenery, Preston Park is just far enough out of the busy city centre to enjoy the perks of space but close enough to dip in when the mood strikes. Here, modern flats and architectural feats sit in harmony alongside stunning Victorian terraced homes, making it one of the area’s most desirable areas to live. The park is the only place to be (besides the seafront) on a sunny day, and athletes – from softballers to joggers to ultimate frisbee players – turn out in force. Year-round, the park itself is host to a variety of marquee events including the Brighton Marathon and the Pride Festival – the UK’s largest.’

“Probably the best area to live, with its own shops and bars, a healthy amount of students and not too far from the town centre either. The houses are well sized and averagely priced (very similar to Elm Grove but without that hill). You can train or bus it into uni, and most streets have free parking. For the boys there are enough pubs on London Road to never miss a football game and have a cracking pub-crawl on the way home. And for the girls there are some lovely cafés and a naughty little charity shop-crawl after.”
